We source ethically & sustainably from New Zealand & overseas providing you with clothing made from organic, recycled & premium cotton materials. Some of our apparel may contain polyester as sometimes we choose durability(lasts longer) over biodegradable.

Hello, my name is Autum & I live in Westport on the West Coast of the South Island. I am a self taught artist/creator that is passionate about celebrating Māori Culture & Aotearoa.

Tamāhine is the kupu Māori word for daughter, I decided to name the company this after the birth of my daughter Elizabeth. She is the driving force behind me that ignited by passion for art & rediscovering my culture. Our children truly are the future & I believe we need to teach our tamariki pride in our identity aswell as better choices to make the world more sustainable.

With the support from family, friends & especially my fiancé I have been on a journey of learning/reconnecting & Tamāhine has become a space for me to express that journey. My passion comes from my whānau, my ancestors, my Iwi, New Zealand & my mixed ethnicity to create pieces that hopefully you can connect to.
